I did hundreds of logo’s over the years many of which i lost or forgot because they were not so great. Here are some i managed to dig up.

==

Here a logo made for an internet security business. I gave the typography the curveture and sort of round generic font you would usually find on a keyboard key (like illustrated) to be able to abstract it and still give it a familiar feeling. Secure one might say….

Rejected quick logotype for Bernie’s Lounge.

Logotype for an art-repro company called Untitled.

Typography done for a campaign to convince people that the neighbourhood Bijlmer in Amsterdam isn’t the hellhole everybody tells you it is.

Logotype done for a production company that ceised it’s activities a while ago. I still like how the transparancy suggests a blood-like consistancy.

I attempted to make a sort of playful, out-of-control, kid-like typography for a 12” label for Brothers Plonk, which ended up not being used.

Two logo proposals i did for the structural development department of Rotterdam university, using elements that resemble graphic representations of infrastructure, like subwaymaps. Both got rejected however.

Logotype i made for Polish fashion designer Gosia Baczynska, trying to resemble the style of clothing as closely as i could in a typographic manner.

Another Polish fashion designer: my friend Wojchiech Dziedic. I noticed how stitched letters resemble computerfonts and decided to use that as a thread.

Logotype made for the Liquid Matter Conference, hosted by the University of Utrecht. I tried to give it a sort of space age time-feel, if that makes any sense at all. I wanted people to associate it roughly with the time when science was exciting and supposedly an answer to everything.

Logotype for a website design company called nerdwork. I wanted nerds to like the logo, where as other people might just not get it. So i replaced the o’s and r’s by zeros and ones.

On of my proposals for then starting nightclub ‘Sugar Factory’. I tried to go for a logo that would look like an old neon with a bunch of the letters not lighting up anymore.

Logotype for an evening aptly called show-off, which was held in club Panama it think. I had ‘70’s game shows in mind when i made it.

Logo made for De Jeugd van Tegenwoordig, around the release of their debut album. I tried to make it as oldfashioned and medieval as possible. The youth of today is from all times.

Logotype for Van Oosterom & Van Oosterom, a gallery space and pilot store located in Rotterdam. The logo mimicks the looks of a very shiny gallery floor.

Logo made for a website featuring models i guess. I used pins as the L’s because that is usually what models are supposed to look like. And they’re also used to see if models are still alive, probably.

Logotype proposal i made for Birgit Schuurman, who didn’t really think it would fit the album she was putting out at the time. I still think it would look cute on a t shirt.

Logotype i made for Nicolay, before he moved to the U.S. Apparently he still uses it for his productions.

Logo made for one of my favourite bands: Supermannen.

Logo made for recording studio Friends.

Logo made for a viral made by friends from STOMP.
